Description

The tradition of ‘palmettes’ has ancient origins. It arises from the use of placing olive and palm’s branches on the altar, between the candelabras, as symbols of victory and peace. This is a tradition that gives birth to objects that take place in homes with the aim of protecting and hoping for well-being and prosperity. “PALMETTA” is the contemporary version, made of marble, of the ancient floral compositions (called “frasche”), which used to be made in embossed silver with a symmetrical arrangement in the shape of an almond, in metal painted with realistic effects or with glass beads.
